He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Welty and Hope Welty; his daughter Diana Lewis; and his grandsons, Brandon and Brett Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Welty; his daughter Gina Mansfield (Don); his grandchildren, Amanda Hardin (Jeremy), Jon Boyer (Emily), Tyler Lewis and Nick Lewis; his stepgrandchildren, Kelly Amigon (Fidel) and Josh Mansfield; his great grandchild Lincoln Michael Hardin; his stepgreat-granddaughter Carla Amigon; his brothers, Don, Ken and Greg Welty; and his brother-in-law Dale Gall (Cookie).
