He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Burton and Bette L. Mize (Marvin "Gene"). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Burton (Roxanne), Peggy Meseberg (late Ron), Kim Chendrean, Darryl Mize (Tracy) and Robbin Fenes (James); and his close friend Ricky Amador.
