It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David C. Hinshaw (Highland, Indiana), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hilda Hinshaw and Ralph Hinshaw; and his sister-in-law Sandi Hinshaw. He is survived by : his wife Mary Hinshaw; his children, Scott Hinshaw, Kim Tharin (Jim) and Mark Hinshaw (Anne Steele); his stepchildren, Lynette Anderson, Robert Beamon (Montse) and Richard Beamon; and his brothers, Tom Hinshaw and John Hinshaw (Debbie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and numerous other family members.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
