He was predeceased by: his sisters, Cleta Moore and Marie Clarke; and his former wife Lora Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Whited; his son Mark Kelly (Carol); his grandchildren, Erika Kelly (Joseph Mates), Evan Kelly, Olivia Kelly and Alexis Kelly; his great grandchildren, Finn and Miles Mates; and his brother James Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given toward the American Heart Association.
