He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Witt and Dianna Witt. He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel Witt (Amy), Donald Witt (Mary Kay) and Darren Witt; his siblings' children, Jennifer Heubner (Alex Fields), Stephine Witt, Taylor Witt, Emma Corsiglia (Kyle), Anna Witt and Ethan Witt; his great-niece Patricia Bigelow; and his great-nephew Greyson (Cameron Corsiglia).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NWI Veterans Village 839 Massachusetts Street Gary, IN 46402.
