He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Spisak and Elsie Spisak; his grandson Michael Maple; and his siblings, Kenneth, Dennis, Donald, Betty and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Jennifer Nowak (Edward), Denise Maple (late Ray), Patricia Gallagher (Albert) and Richard Spisak (late Jen); his grandchildren, Tim Nowak, Marc Maple, Jessica Page (Ben), Melanie Maple, Erin Franken (Cole), Gabrielle Magdziarz, Danielle Matchett (Drew), Isabelle Hill, Ricky Spisak and James Spisak; and his great grandchildren, Shelby, Maddie, Lanie, Amelia and Emmy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. James the Less Catholic Church (9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland, IN 46322).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local food pantry.
