He is survived by: his children, Ed Mackowiak (Nancy), Della Dickey (Joe) and Tom Mackowiak (Debbie); his grandchildren, Joe Dickey, Alex Dickey, Kelsey Handy (Matthew) and Zachary Mackowiak (Aarika); and his sister Lorraine Stevens.
