He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Jean Smiley; his parents, Ed Smiley and Irma Smiley; his daughter Anne Baranowski; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Larsen, Aria Sefton and Benjamin Sefton.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Kohler and Mike Smiley (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Becky Larsen (Eric), Kevin Kohler (Ashley), Amanda Sefton (Matt), Randy Baranowski Jr. (Amanda), Jonathan Smiley and Matthew Smiley; his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Claire, Gabriel, Natalia Larsen, Logan, Graham, Jack Kohler, Thomas Sefton, Jacob and Oliver Baranowski; his son-in-law Randy Baranowski Sr.; and his siblings, Pat Fleming (late Ray), Casi Aplin (Doug), Ruthann Kritz (Ray) and Jeff Smiley (Debi). He is also survived by his grandchildren and Pop-Pop to his great grandchildren.
