It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Felipe Puente of Highland, Indiana, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Felipe M. Puente, Jr.; and his brothers, Lino Puente and Cosmo Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Maria G. Puente; his children, Frank Puentes (Debra), Michael Puentes (Jane), Marie Puente and Georgina Garcia (Eduardo); his granddaughters, Jennifer Gougherty (Matt), Azalea Garcia and Amalia Garcia; and his siblings, Tony Hernandez (Sally), Mary Custin and Angie Damon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021 and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday morning. **(A MAXIMUM of 25 People will be Allowed in the Funeral Home at one time and MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCING will be Required)** Felipe retired from Inland Steel Company in 1979 after 32 years of service.
