With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Edward Getty in Highland, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on November 1, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold R. Getty and Helena Getty; his wife Mary Ann Getty; and his brothers, Arthur R. and Steven J. Getty.

He is survived by: his children, Karl F. Getty of Nashville, TN and Katrina Lynn Sneed of Fort Wayne, IN; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Shayee, Kasey and Aly. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in his honor may be directed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church or St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville.
