Though Geraldine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Geraldine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Ackerman and Helen Ackerman; her husband Victor; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa; her goddaughters, Beth McCabe and Colette Snyder; and her brother Skip Ackerman. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
