He was predeceased by : his father James P. Vacendak. He is survived by : his wife Annette; his mother Gretchen Vacendak; his daughters, Michele Vacendak, Jennifer Vacendak and Elizabeth Vacendak; and his step-children, Nichole Plummer (David) and Matthew Hedgren. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
