He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Mae Mitchell Thomas and Charles Edgar Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Edith Viers Thomas; his daughters, Carla Bahnken (Robert) of Elliston and Lori Kapalin (Jason) of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Bahnken, Adam Bahnken, Morgan Bahnken, Megan Reece (Brandon) and Anna Kapalin.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (5555 Lee Hwy, Dublin, VA 24084).
Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in Jimmy's memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
