Janice Van Deel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Van Deel (Highland, Indiana), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Eriks and Evelyn Eriks; her in-laws, Henry and Sally Van Deel; and her sister-in-law Debbie Van Deel.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Van Deel; her children, Jason Seyller-Van (Daniel), Rachel Evers (Matt) and Gary Montemayor (Daniel); her grandchildren, Caden, Lucas, Cody, Evelyn and Ethan; her siblings, Carol Bowman (Randy) and Jim Eriks (Pat); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Kats (Connie) and John Van Deel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Illiana Christian High School, Crown Point Christian School, or Highland Christian School in Memory of Janice Van Deel.
