We announce the death of Jeanette Oprea of Highland, Indiana, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 86. Jeanette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Oprea Jr.; her sister Darlene Heskett; and her parents, Lawrence Turnquist and Helen Turnquist. She is survived by: her children, Kent Oprea (Michelle), Tracy Oprea and Holly Severson (Eric); her grandchildren, Cara, Brandon, Chelsea, Thor, Nolan and Ella; her great grandchildren, Via and Zuri; her niece Shelley Elman (Rick); and her nephew Gary Heskett (Mary).
