He was predeceased by: his son Harry Karahalios; and his parents, George Karahalios and Ekaterini Karahalios. He is survived by: his wife Dina Karahalios of Highland; his children, George Karahalios (Julie) of Highland and Olga Karahalios of Hobart; his grandchildren, Dina Kaboroglou (Stavros) of Athens, Greece, Dina Harty (Justin) of Hobart and Johnathan Karahalios of Chicago, IL; his great grandchildren, Melina Kaboroglou and Kathryn Harty; his brother Demitrios Karahalios (Dina); his nephew Peter Smaragdis; and his niece Eleni Makris-Fotopoulos (John). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
