It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Stanley Kaptur of Highland, Indiana, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kaptur and Mildred Kaptur. He is survived by: his wife Izzy; his children, Jim Kaptur (Sue), Paulette Pauley (Doug), Larry Kaptur, Judy Hendryx (Keith), Don Kaptur (Jaci) and Renee Rotatori (Mark); his grandchildren, Brad, Morgan Kaptur, Erika Mendez (Alex), Rachel Pauley, Liana, Alex Kaptur-Guzman, Brandon Hendryx (Aisha), Nicholas Hendryx, Mark Hendryx (Kelsee), Lauren Hnatio (Justin), Brittany Phalen (Mike), Matthew Hendryx (Nicole), Dustin Kaptur (Courtney), Tim, Chris Kaptur, JP, Thomas and Kellen Rotatori; and his brother Henry Kaptur (Nila). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Grace School or Wounded Warriors Project in memory of Joe Kaptur.
