With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Konstantina Karahalios of Highland, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Konstantina Karahalios to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband John Karahalios; her son Harilaos "Harry" Karahalios; her parents, Harilaos Makris and Eleni Makris; and her siblings, Peter Makris, Marina Smaragdis, Tasos Makris (Eleni) and Katina Karaiskou.

She is survived by : her children, George Karahalios (Julie) of Highland and Olga Karahalios of Hobart; her grandchildren, Dina Davarinos (Stavros) of Athens, Dina Harty (Justin) of Hobart and Johnathan Karahalios (Ciara) of Chicago, IL; her great grandchildren, Melina Davarinos and Kathryn Harty; her brother Demitrios Karahalios (Dina); her nephew Peter Smaragdis; and her niece Eleni Makris-Fotopoulos (John). She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. George Hellenic Greek Church (528 W 77th Ave, Schererville, IN 46375). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
