With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa MacDonald (Highland, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Lisa may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia MacDonald and Glen MacDonald. She is survived by: her sister Julie Tomasko (Troy); her brother-in-law Troy; her nephew Sidney Tomasko; and her close friends, Paul Grego and Greg Kokot. She is also survived by numerous cousins; friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clement Parish (642 W Deming Pl, Chicago, IL 60614). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Humane society of Hobart or the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in Lisa's name would be appreciated.
