She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul J. Whitcomb and Naomi Whitcomb; her brother Robert J. Whitcomb; and her nephew Steven Whitcomb. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Getty of Fort Wayne, IN; her stepchildren, Karl F. Getty of Nashville, TN and Katrina Lynn Sneed of Fort Wayne, IN; her nephew Mark Whitcomb; and her stepgrandchildren, Jamie, Shayee, Kasey and Aly.

Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church or St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville.
