It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathilda Hogan (Highland, Indiana), born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Mathilda's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Hogan; and her mother Mary Octhun Jenco. She is survived by: her children, Michael Hogan (late Margaret), Mary Hogan and Lynne Hogan-Fejdasz; and her grandson Justin Fejdasz. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (3025 Highway Ave, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
