It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Stefano of Highland, Indiana, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Stefano and Margaret Stefano. She is survived by: her aunts, Mary and Helen; her grandchild Halloween; her children, Aaron Kielbasa and Stacey Kielbasa (Daniel Evans); her sisters-in-law, Angela Flesher and Sharon Kielbasa; her cousin Marcia Burr; her nephews, Matthew Burr, Mark Kielbasa (Kim) and Sean Flesher (Jesi Soper); her granddaughters, Olivia, Victoria and Hayden Evans; Matthew.
A burial/committal service will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, Indiana, at 1:45 p.m. Flowers are welcome; donations may also be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
