With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Lucille Hardman of Hillsdale, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Dorothy Wilson Smith; her husbands, Jim Davis, Richard Hardman and WarrenGordon; her siblings, Lois Wells, Clara Wilson and Bobby Wilson; and her stepsiblings, Bernice Watson and Presley Haughee.
She is survived by: her sons, Troy Davis (Tracy) of Mobile, Eric Davis of Hillsdale, Braxton Hardman (Sally) of Waveland and James Hardman (Allyson) of Danville; her grandchildren, Alicia Davis, Courtney Hardman, Gwen Davis, Trevor Hardman, Chloe Hardman, Conner Washburn, Madison Hardman, Paisley Hardman and Brantley Lawson; her great grandchildren, Dash Matchett, Ada Davis, Griffin Miller and Josephine Wineinger; and her siblings, Jane Bevins, Ray Wilson and Virgil Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barnes & Rice Funeral Home (111 E High St, Rockville, IN 47872). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
