He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Dowler and Freda Dowler (Kreischer); his wife Lois E. Bell; and his siblings, Maurice Dowler, Paul Henry Dowler and Lois Ann Dowler.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Dowler of Hoagland, Indiana, Sandi Selking (Luke) of Hoagland, Indiana and Paul Dowler (Karen) of Crawfordsville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Danny Dowler (Alyssa), Casey Clindaniel (Marcus), Jennifer Dowler, Heidi Bush (Zach), Courtney Stack (Scott), Grant Selking (Sarah), Nathan Dowler (Kristy), Andrew Dowler and Jessica Dowler; and his great grandchildren, Laine Clindaniel, Calvin Clindaniel, Levi Dowler, Carter Bush, Ryan Selking, Karlie Selking Evy Stack, Wes Stack, Connor Dowler, Addisyn Dowler and Hadley Dowler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (9909 Wayne Trce, Fort Wayne, IN 46816). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest.
