He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maliqias Lupino Duran and Estafana Duran (Archuleta Montoya); his wife Angela Villarruel; his children, Melissa Frye (Brian) of Norfolk, VA and Steve Duran (Lili) of Lake Station, IN; his grandchildren, Evan Frye, Noehmi Lopez and Sophia Duran; his sibling's children, Bobby Perez, Kathy Perez, Anita Perez, Teresa Sears and Tony Perez Jr.; and his godson Chris Moreno.
