With solemn reverence, we commemorate Kathleen Rae Ruchti of Hobart, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, whose life came to an end on December 2, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Gallagher and Harriet C. Gallagher of Hobart; and her son Jeffrey A. Ruchti of Hobart. She is survived by: her husband Frederick "Fritz" L. Ruchti, III; her daughter Becky Ruchti-Greenberg (Chip); her grandchildren, Kay Tennison (Justin), Megan Hayden (Christian), Justin Paris (Laura) and Amanda Hein (Leon); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Ammerie, Cullen, Gillian, William, Kaiden, Arthur, Lydia and Michael; and her siblings, Thomas Gallagher (Mary) of Vail, AZ and Beth Gallagher of West Union, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church (1360 S State St, Hobart, IN 46342). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen Episcopal Church Altar Guild.
