It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Osmon of Hobart, Indiana, who passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Birt and Sarah "Sadie" Birt (Hunter); and her daughter Marsha Osmon. She is survived by: her caregiver Ann Llamas; her niece Bonnie Felger; her nephews, Ronald Hunter (Sarah) and John Hunter (Carole); her cousin Ruth Ann Emory; and her friends, Sandy and Lacy Thomas.
