She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fultz and Lala Fultz; her husband Austin Spain; her sons, Eddie Spain and Warren "Muggs" Spain; her siblings, Willie Dew, Carolyn Gean, Mary Plunk, Ruby Peevyhouse, Cecil and Albert Fultz; her grandson Brian Rushing; and her son-in-law Tom Rushing.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Spain (Diane) of Hobart, IN, Rita Keith (Mike) of Valparaiso, IN, Marty Spain (Cheri) of Hobart, IN and Terry Spain (Cheryl) of Hobart, IN. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
