She was predeceased by: her parents, Damaso Serrano and Hilaria Sanabria Serrano (Torres); and her siblings, Carla Serrano, Antonio Serrano and Edward Serrano.

She is survived by: her husband Juan Weiss of Hobart; her daughter Jennifer Weiss of Lake Station; her granddaughter Alicia Miranda; and her siblings, Joe Serrano (Antonia), Danny Serrano (Audrey), Robert Serrano (Deana), Julia DeJesus (Antonio), Juanita Del Valle and Norma Martin (Mike). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
