He was predeceased by: his wife Janetta Daniels; his parents, William Daniels and Ruth Daniels; and his siblings, Donald Bertolo Sr., Marilyn Elkins, Dorthia Hiliard, Marvin Daniels, Margie Hopper and Delores Dye.
He is survived by: his sister Mildred "Mickey" Embry; his son Dean Daniels (Katheeja); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Zahra, Noah, Armaan, Zayn and Musa.
