It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Franklin (Hobart, Indiana), who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Franklin (Pickett) and Major James Franklin Sr.; and her siblings, Linda Johnson and Kevin Battle. She is survived by: her children, Taya Molex (Patrick) and Brian Stewart (Toi); her grandchildren, Kira, Marc, Nia, Daniel, Noah and Micah; her siblings, Sandra Smith, Darryl Battle, Joan Franklin, Bridgette Warnsley, Aretha Franklin-Gary, Veda Johnson, Elaine Franklin, Lanore Jackson, Major Franklin, Jr., Darren George, George Franklin, Ashley Souriya and Taurean Miller; and her great-niece Shaquiera Wallace. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Pamela's memory.
