We bid farewell to Ricardo Javier Tejeda of Hobart, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 19, 2025 at the age of 56. Ricardo Javier touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Alfonso Tejeda; his brother Ruben Tejeda; his in-laws, Eluterio and Jovita Herrera; and his cousin Henry Salinas.
He is survived by: his mother Maria Tejeda (Quiroga); his wife Angela Tejeda; his children, Jessica Tejeda (Sal Angulo) of Merrillville, Salina Anguiano (Jovany) of Valparaiso, Erica Tejeda (Julius Jimenez) of Hammond and Joshua Tejeda (Payton Michael) of Hobart; his granddaughters, Nayeli, Xenia, Layla, Araceli and Elena; his siblings, Irma Webster (Ed), Alfonso Tejeda, Jr. and Gerardo Tejeda (Beth); and his sister-in-law Mary Tejeda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (8303 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410).
