Wendy Shepherd Obituary

Wendy Jo Shepherd (Schwartz) The Villages, Florida formerly from Portage, Indiana Wendy Jo Shepherd, age 60, left her earthly home for the house of the Lord on November 25, 2017. She passed away surrounded by her loving family at Leesburg Hospital. She was born in Gary, IN to the late Jack and Shirley Shepherd. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor"s degree and worked as a Medical Technician at Methodist Hospital for many years.

After moving to Florida, she continued her career with Hematology & Oncology. Wendy loved the outdoors and planning new adventures. Her favorite hobbies were motorcycle riding, RV trips, and kayaking. She spent many years as a member of Orlando Warriors on Water and was loved by her teammates. She recently was inspired to get her own motorcycle license and belonged to two riding groups in The Villages: The Free Wheelers and The Village Spyder Riders.
