It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell G Hilsmeyer of Holland, Indiana, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Hilsmeyer and Violet Hilsmeyer (Rauscher); his siblings, Dorothy Partenheimer, Doris Partenheimer, Joan Hilsmeyer, Alice Coleman and Dean Hilsmeyer; and his stepdaughter Lori Bullock.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Villines of Holland and Michael Hilsmeyer (Holly) of Avon; his stepson Mark Bullock of Holland; and his grandchildren, Joshua Songer, Andrew Songer (Taylor), Jackson Hilsmeyer, Max Hilsmeyer and Michelle Bullock.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 343 (343 1st St, Holland, IN 47541).
