With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene R. Amon in Holton, Indiana, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Rose and Ruth Rose; her husband Richard Amon; her son David Amon (Dawn); her grandson Brian Amon; and her siblings, Ronald Rose and Judy Schweitzer (Ray).
She is survived by: her children, Tom Amon (Mary Jo) of Elkhorn, Don Amon of Elkhorn, Gary Amon of Elkhorn and Karen Gilsrud (Tim) of Osakis, MN; her grandchildren, Jonathan Amon (Kim), Mary Jean Amon (Louie), Amanda Amon, Jason Gilsrud (Vanessa), Todd Gilsrud (Caley) and Heather Voltz (Brogan); her stepgrandchildren, Troy, Branden and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Lane Amon, Matthew, Arianna, Elijah, Jack and Kolson Gilsrud.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cross Lutheran Church (126 Chapel Terrace, Burlington, WI 53105). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery (N5664 Town Line Rd, Elkhorn, WI 53121).
