It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Edward Fugate of Holton, Indiana, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper and Mary Fugate Sr. (Compton); his son Billy Fugate; and his siblings, Louise Mockbee, Pauline Allen, Herbert Fugate and Harley Fugate.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Fugate of Osgood; his friend Betty St. John; and his siblings, Jasper "Jay" Fugate (Sarah) of Milan, Gail Haase of Milan and Phyllis Crossthwaite of Dillsboro. He is also survived by numerous niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Holton Masonic Lodge #624 (7015 Palmer St, Holton, IN 47023). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
