It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Ruth Furlong of Hope, Indiana, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mel; her siblings, John Schuppel (Shirley), Helen Ahlers (Edwin), Myron Schuppel (Rita) and Donald Schuppel (Alyce); her nieces and nephews, Joel Ahlers, Glen Schuppel, Dick Schuppel, Nona Rae Thums and Jean Peterson; her brother-in-law Harry Justman; and her daughter-in-law Marilyn Furlong.
She is survived by: her sister Rita Justman; her children, Charles Boegel (Mary) of Kewaskum, Virginia Ketter (Charles) of Eden and Sheila Strean (Allan) of Fond du Lac; her stepchildren, Jay Furlong of Fond du Lac, Linda Robey (Tom) of Helotes, TX and Ronald Furlong (Jane) of Plymouth, MN.; her grandchildren, Christa Aagerup (Erik), Seth Strean (Stacy), Ryan Strean, Jesse Boegel (Kelly), Keith Boegel, Kate Conley (Vince), Sarah Robey-Bacted (Anthony), Laura Robey, Kelly Furlong, Kay Wagner (Chris) and Kurt Furlong (Sydney); and her great grandchildren, Daisy Beavers (Jaden), Cullen, Carson Priepke, Luxey Strean, Grace, Grant Conley, Louie, Charlie, Oliver, Frederick and George Furlong.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar St. Lucas Lutheran Church (1417 Parkview Dr, Kewaskum, WI 53040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Lucas Lutheran Church would be much appreciated.
