It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Drake (Hope, Indiana), who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cheryl Drake to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Edwin Alvis and Jean Lois Stockment; her in-laws, Wilfred W Drake and Francis M Drake; and her siblings, Donald D. Alvis and Cassandra Sheffield.

She is survived by: her son Jarett Drake (Nikki); her husband Dale Drake; her son Justin Drake (Dawn) of Norman, IN; her grandchildren, Brandon, Shauna, Aaron, Ashton, Shannah, Steven, Maddox and Alisa; her great grandchildren, Maya, Kali and Charlie; and her siblings, Marcia Bundura (Gary), Karen Alvis and Doug Alvis (Teresa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

I know she is in a good place and happy. I remember her love for hot air balloons and Ghirardelli's Chocolate. I once sent her a picture of me standing in a Ghirardelli shop surrounded by chocolate and she told me I was mean! I loved her like family. Some day we will roller skate down the street again!”
