She was predeceased by: her parents, Finnis Burris and LouAnn Cowan Burris; her husband Earl D. Eakle; her children, Linda Faye Tungett and Dennis Ray Eakle; and her siblings, Faye King, William "Logie" Burris and Wanda Roberts.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tabatha Tallent (Matthew) of Hope, Alexis Tallent of Hope and Dustin Eakle of Columbus; and her sisters, Geneva Hadley and Bertha Bailey (Harold). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246).
