With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Generose M. Kast of Hope, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Generose left this world on September 18, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Geiger, and Verna Geiger, Sr. (Peters); her husband Kurt; her daughter Linda Kast; her siblings, Savilla Retzlaff (Walter), Alfred Jr., Arlene Heller (Doyle), Roger (Lois), Vern, Joan Karow and Rosemary Tjugum; her granddaughter Rebecca Kast; her parents-in-law, Otto and Freda Kast; and her brothers-in-law, Howard Kast (Margaret) and Donald Kast (Edith).
She is survived by: her children, Greg Kast (Carol) of Randolph, Lisa Warmka (Jerry) of Iron Ridge, Lucy Malter (Kevin) of Fond du Lac, Ken Kast (Shelia) of Waupun and Keith Kast (Katie Maly) of Waupun; her grandchildren, Andrew Kast (Michelle), Gwendolyn Hermes (Jason), Curtis Kast (Jessica), Tyler Warmka (Breanna), Travis Warmka (Kayla), Calli Malter (Tyler Houston), Cody Kast (Callie Mischler), MaKenna Kast (Jak Lenz) and Kaden Kast; her siblings, Beatrice Dunning (Donald) of Columbus and James Geiger (Linda) of Windsor; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Geiger, Carol Geiger and Jerry Tjugum. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church-Fox Lake (305 Green St, Fox Lake, WI 53933). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
