It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard A. Whittington (Hope, Indiana), who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Whittington and Dorothy Dailey Whittington; his wife Shirley Smith; and his siblings, Betty Whittington, June Green and Dan Whittington.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Whittington (Vicky) of Hope, Julie Seavers (Charlie) of Hope and Joe Whittington (Janice) of Hope; his grandchildren, Rhett Whittington, Kalee Eversole, Wesley, Wyatt Whittington, Josh, Doug, Matthew and Jacob Burbrink; and his siblings, Mary Alice Mings (Thelbert) and Mike Whittington. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
