She was predeceased by : her parents, William Francis and Margaret Elizabeth Terry (Kantz); her former life partner Russell E. Schmidt; her husband James S. Cummings; and her son-in-law David Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Beverly Nelson of Howe, Ginny Warble (Chris) of LaGrange, Dan Schmidt (Marilyn) of Middleville, MI and David Schmidt of Michigan; and her grandchildren, Lexi Ekema, Hayden Schmidt, Drake Schmidt, Adam Warble, Erin Warble, Tad Nelson and Tara Trueblood. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
