He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. Klopfenstein and Aretha Mary Klopfenstein (Klopfenstine); and his brothers, Larry L. Klopfenstein, Tony Klopfenstein and Dale Klopfenstein.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Klopfenstein; his children, Lyle Klopfenstein (Barbara) of LaGrange, Sarah Klopfenstein of Howe, Anne Nolan of West Lafayette and Todd Klopfenstein (Cindy) of Loveland, Ohio; and his brother Gary Klopfenstein (Raejean) of Howe, Indiana.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
