He is survived by: his wife Loretta Erikson; his children, Allen Thompson (Rebecca), Neils Erikson (Jeanie) and Britt Jones (Brian); his grandchildren, Chuckie Erikson, Tristian Erikson, Bristol Jones, Katie Jones, Emily Thompson and Jacob Thompson; his sister Kristen Erikson of Valparaiso; and his brother-in-law Billy Hancock of Missouri. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials are to the Ashley Masonic Lodge.
