He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel P. Schwartz and Effie M. Schwartz; his wife Betty Schwartz; and his children, David, Brian and Patricia.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Deetz (Jim) of Hudson, Robert Schwartz of Hamilton, Martin L. Schwartz, Jr. of Pekin and Dawn Fry of Tucker, Georgia. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
