He is survived by: his wife Lynda Rittenhouse (McArdle); his sons, Andrew (Katie Rittenhouse), Ben Rittenhouse of Holland, MI, Aaron (Ellen Rittenhouse), Chris (Taylor Rittenhouse), Nick (Allie Rittenhouse) and Patrick (Samantha Rittenhouse); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Molly, Norah, Evelyn, Ophelia and Felix.
