Weaver (Rodenbeck); her husband Joseph M. "Joe" Chambers; her daughter Eleanor Grace Chambers; her siblings, Alex K. Weaver and Nicole E. Weaver; her grandparents, Phil and Marcia Rodenbeck; her in-laws, John and Jennifer Chambers; and her pets, Demo and Rockne. She is also survived by many extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Her journey as a scientist included many major contributions to the fields of molecular biology, nephrology, and medical devices through her dedication and expertise.
