It is with sadness that the passing of Daniel J. Filler of Huntertown, Indiana is shared. Daniel, born on February 7, 1941, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Filler and Mary Filler (Kelliher); his stepmother Virginia Filler; his brother Tom Filler; and his brothers-in-law, Mel (Pat), Bob Wagner and Bob German.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Wagner; his children, Barb Campbell (Chris) of Fort Wayne and Pat Filler (Angie) of Rome City; his grandchildren, Bri Brackenhoff (Steve), Aric Campbell (Nechole) of Indianapolis, J. P and Andy Filler (Samantha) of Fort Wayne; and his siblings-in-law, Kenny Wagner (Mary Ann), Marilyn German and Donna Wagner.
A rosary will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (1986 W Cedar Canyons Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748). Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
Memorials are requested to St. Vincent Catholic Church or Parkview Cancer Institute.
