Joan Lee Hand Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 23, 2025, at the age of 71, Joan Lee Hand of Huntertown, Indiana, born in Rapid City, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wigger and Nancy Wigger (Skipper). She is survived by: her sons, David and Adam; and her siblings, Judy Eberhart and Robert Wigger.
