He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Jacob and Loretta Jacob (Ebenkamp); his wife Darlene Jacob of Mary's Catholic Church; and his brother Eugene Jacob. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Jacob (Barbara) of Bretzville, Sherri Rickelman (Denny) of Fulda, Tina Dieter (Ken) of St. Meinrad and Tara Eckert (Bryan) of St. Anthony; his siblings, Donny, Kenny, Hilary, Stanley Jacob, Marilyn Taylor and Laverne Oser; and his grandchildren, Camden Schaefer, Emily Jacob, Shaina Arnold (Rickelman), Noah Rickelman, Amanda Jacob, Shantai Cochenour (Rickelman), Brianna Eckert, Conrad Schaefer, Daniel Eckert and Clay Eckert. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Nass & Son Funeral Home (208 Main St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (317 N Washington St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
